How to find codec of a video?

Hey, this is going to be a short and crisp one. Mediainfo App, an application designed to extract information about a media file format, codec, bitrate, etc. If you are willing to change the codec or bitrate of any video file, first you have to know about the original video. Then only you can change its bitrate from the original. Because sometimes, both the original and converted video maybe have the same settings (like bitrate).

Simple buddies. On opening the app, you can see a "+" button at the bottom. At the top right corner, subscription and preference options are available.

How to find the META data of a video?

Tap the "+" at the bottom. Now, select the video file. Viola! There it is. All the available information is shown. Video codec and audio codec are separately given. At the top, the download button is present, you can download the information/data as a text file or in the format in which you are viewing the information. Also, you can view the information in various formats by clicking the "eye" button beside the download option.
